St James’ Church has a thriving calendar of social events, encouraging the congregation and people outside of the parish to be part of the life of the church. These include:

• Sponsored events
• Quiz and skittles evenings
• Bingo
• Picnics
• Visiting choirs
• Children's treasure hunts
• Fêtes

We also offer members of the congregation the opportunity to attend weekend retreats, which have proved to be highly popular and successful.

Feeling musical?
We’re very proud to have a choir who sing at our 9.30am Eucharist and 6.30pm Evensong on Sundays, and we’re always looking for new members both young and old.

Likewise, our bellringers are always happy to welcome new people to our ‘campanologists team’. Bells have been rung in Bulkington for many years, and throughout the year our bellringers visit various churches to ring their bells too!
